So the election worked out fine, I voted for Obama, I thinkhe’ll do a good job, I just hope that we can get the country back to where itbelongs as soon as possible, it’s really sad to hear about all the people thatare losing their homes because of the mortgage crisis, it’s really stupid thatthis has been going on for a while and Washington didn’t do anything to stopthis from happening. We need better regulation of big corporations.
I think everyone should focus on doing their part on helpingthe President-Elect and his future staff fix this mess, I know republicans areskeptical about his abilities to govern with a biased congress, but I think it’sa good thing, remember, democrats are not going to vote in favor of crazyregulations just because the president is a democrat, I don’t think that wouldhappen, if we see down the road something we don’t like we have to start actingfast, write your congressman, your senator, write every single person that getsa say on anything that was elected by you and tell them what you think and toback your decision up, we have to start telling people to exercise their rightto complain and for their congressman or senator to act on behalf of the peoplethat got them that job, me for instance, I’ll write to Senator Reed orCongresswoman Titus if I feel that some legislation is going to damage me, I’lllet them know, everyone should.
I’ve seen all kinds of reactions from people about ourPresident-Elect; I’ve seen African-Americans rejoice on the outcome, I’ve seenrepublicans cry, I just think that we should just watch carefully and bevigilant on what’s going to happen in the next 4 years. If your candidate lost, think on how you can make the candidate that won listen to your opinion andneeds and meet them. Start acting NOW.
